French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Galatasaray are set to complete the signing of French goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso.
The 35-year-old has been a free agent since his contract with Bordeaux expired in June, and his agents have been in talks with the Turkish giants for several weeks.
An agreement over a one-year deal appears to have been reached and the veteran shot-stopper is set to fly to Turkey later today.
Carrasso made a name for himself at Bordeaux, spending last nine years there, while he previously represented Marseille, Crystal Palace, Guingamp and Toulouse.
The goalkeeper was a part of the France national team between 2009 and 2012, making one appearance for Les Bleus.
