Chiefs vs Colts Week 3 Picks and Predictions: Mahomes Picks Apart Indy's Scheme

The Kansas City Chiefs took care of business last week with a 27-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and now set their sights on an Indianapolis Colts team that has yet to win in 2022.

The Colts have had a horrendous start to the season, first tying in Week 1 with the Houston Texans and then following that up by being on the receiving end of a 24-0 beatdown courtesy of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Needless to say, starting off a playoff-hopeful season with those performances against two lowly franchises is less than ideal.

Can the Colts bounce back in a big way from the confines of Lucas Oil Stadium in their first home game of the season, or will Andy Reid have a bag of tricks up his sleeve on a long week of preparation following the Chiefs’ Thursday night triu…

NFL Best Bets and Player Props for Week 3: We're Not Buying this Ford Against Tennessee

Through two weeks of football action, I’ve noticed that most of my NFL picks have been on secondary players, rather than the stars and No. 1s on given rosters.

It’s a good thing too… because the stars have been dropping like flies: We’ve already lost Aaron Rodgers, J.K. Dobbins, and Nick Chubb for the year, while Saquon Barkley, Austin Ekeler, Aaron Jones, and Diontae Johnson are all also currently sidelined.

So, for my best bets based on the Week 3 odds, I bet on some high-profile quarterbacks — spitting in the face of the injury gods’ apparent wrath — and a kicker for good measure.

Today, we’re putting backups back into the spotlight, with a wide receiver to excel, one newly minted No. 1 to struggle… and then Zach Wilson…

Rams vs Cardinals Odds, Picks, and Predictions Week 12: Stafford & Co. Roll in the Desert

The Arizona Cardinals are set to host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 odds. The Cardinals have the second-worst record in the league at 2-9 but things have been trending in the right direction after Kyler Murray returned to the team two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the Rams are trending in the opposite direction and have dropped six of their last nine contests. Bookmakers are expecting a close game with NFL odds installing the Rams as slim 1.5-point road favorites.

Here are my best free NFL picks for Rams vs. Cardinals on November 26.

Chargers vs Broncos Picks, Predictions, and Best Bets: Defenses Dominate in AFC West Tilt

The Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos butt heads in Week 6 for an AFC West clash.

With both defenses looking dominant, my Chargers vs. Broncos predictions and NFL picks expect little offense in the Mile High City.

Chargers vs Broncos prediction

My best betUnder 35.5 (-110 at BetMGM)

My analysisThe Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers look ugly on offense, but they remain around .500 because of their dominance on the opposite side of the ball.

Denver allows 14.6 points per contest — second in the NFL — and gives up the third-fewest total yards while sitting fifth in least passing yards and 10th in rushing yards. Sean Payton’s defense is doing their job in every single way.

So, wh…

Canada wants 2022 Winter Olympics out of China, says country is committing ‘genocide’

The 2022 Winter Olympics are less than a year away and one country is starting to call for the games to relocate over egregious human rights abuses. Yesterday, Canada’s House of Commons voted to formally announce that China is committing genocide on over one million Uighurs in its Xinjiang province. The motion passed 266-0, with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet abstaining from the vote. Human rights groups, Uighur activists, the United Nations, and other researchers, have brought forth numerous credible reports of China rounding up Uighur Muslims and other ethnic minorities into Chinese “training centers” that are really indoctrination camps. In addition to formally recognizing the genocide for what it is, the resolution also called for the Internati…

Unsure which MLS team to support? Try our watchability rankings

MLS is in a good spot this season. It’s fun, fast and the teams lend fans plenty of reason to tune in, for better or worse.

But there are a lot of games. So this highly subjective, very unscientific rankings of teams based on the elusive, nebulous “watchability” factor, can help the decision-making process when a handful of games overlap on a Saturday evening. One important note: this is not composed exclusively on quality – a team can be watchable while not actually being competent at winning. So, here they are, from worst to first.

Championship roundup: Billy Sharp puts Sheffield United level with leaders

A first-half goal from the captain, Billy Sharp, gave Sheffield United a 1-0 win against Huddersfield at Bramall Lane, putting his side level on points with Burnley, who have a game in hand.

The Blades were on top from the start and took the lead on 15 minutes, Senegal’s Iliman Ndiaye, back from the World Cup, playing an inch‑perfect pass through the defence for the skipper to dink over the onrushing Lee Nicholls.

‘I was making breakfast’ – new Lioness Moorhouse on missing Wiegman’s call

The Orlando Pride goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse says she was brought to tears when she received her first England call-up at the age of 29, having remained hopeful she might one day make the squad.

The Oldham-born Moorhouse arrived in the Lionesses’ camp on Monday and trained with the squad for the first time on Tuesday for their Euro 2025 qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Sweden.

Her long-awaited first call-up comes after she achieved a league-leading seven clean sheets in 15 games in America’s top women’s division, the National Women’s Soccer League, this season. It comes after another impressive campaign last term after signing for her Florida-based club from Bordeaux in 2022.

2020 AL East Preview

At least two teams from the American League East have made the playoffs in each of the past five seasons, and as strange as a shortened 2020 season figures to be, the division figures to continue that streak with two of the elite teams in the majors — the Yankees and Rays — heading up the division. credits: The questions are who will win the division, and whether the young Blue Jays or hard-hitting Red Sox might also make a push toward October. There’s also, of course, the matter of whether the season gets completed, because, you know, coronavirus. The one thing that does seem a certainty is another season of misery for the Baltimore Orioles, who not only get to square off against four divisional rivals who overmatch them, but a strong group of teams from the National League Ea…
